Yes. KidsPlay's Southridge campus runs inside Medicine Hat Christian School and adds Bible stories, scripture, worship and prayer to the full preschool program. It serves children 3 to Kindergarten, 7:45 am to 4:30 pm.
An approved family day home is child care in an educator's own home, supported by an agency. KidsPlay's agency is contracted by South Region Alberta Child and Family Services to screen, monitor and mentor each educator through regular home visits.
Yes. Government subsidy and the Affordability Grant are available at both preschool campuses. Day home families may qualify for Alberta's child care subsidy, and our agency takes part in the federal-provincial program that lowers fees.
What are your hours?
The Hill campus is open 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and the Southridge campus 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, with early drop-off and late pick-up at both. Day homes offer full-time, part-time, casual and extended-hours spaces.
Yes, at Medicine Hat Christian School. KidsPlay offers supplemental care for children in MHCS half-day Kindergarten, so they have full-time care in the same building.
Register online, with one form for preschool and one for family day homes. For day homes, we meet with you, refer suitable educators and arrange a pre-placement interview so you can meet them first.
